Labradorite

 Labradorite has long been a Shaman's stone - meaning it has very magical, transformational and etheric qualities. It is one of the best grounding stones to accompany astral travel/higher chakra work. It truly helps to maintain connection to Earth, whilst its light-reflectivity helps to explore higher vibrations. Labradorite derives its name from the Labrador Peninsula in Canada where it was first found in 1770. It is a Feldspar mineral, a series of compounds including sodium, and calcium aluminium silicates with a Moh’s Scale hardness of 6. As well as being mined in Norway and the former USSR, there is also a blue semi-transparent variety called "Spectrolite" that is only found in Finland. Labradorite is grey to green with iridescent flashes of purple, blue and yellow. The reflective properties of this unique stone is also referred to as "Labradorescence".
Labradorite is said to be a power stone, allowing you to see through illusions and determine the actual form of your dreams and goals. It is excellent for strengthening intuitions.
