Lacoste On Tennis By Rene Lacoste, published in 1928, 1st Edition, no dustjacket, 191 pages, hardcover, pages do have age spots, outside spine is broken and torn and some pages (mainly the illustrations) are working slightly loose towards the bottom of the pages. That all said, all pages are intact and are quite readable.

Book contains hints and tips for playing, chapters on technique, service, spin of the ball, Suzanne Lenglen, Tilden, The Davis Cup etc.etc.  Rene Lacoste, known as "The Crocodile", the inventor of the metal racquet and the man behind a line of sportswear that has a become a status symbol. This is not a book that one often comes across.
