I have no idea when fan boxes became obsolete, but this looks very much like a product of the 1920’s to me. The box is in good condition with a hand-painted on silk panel to the inside of the lid. The wooden framed fan inside the box, I placed there. It did not come with the box, but I think it goes nicely with it, even if it should turn out to be the incorrect period for the box. The box measures 28 cm x 5.5 cm x 5 cm. Please add R22 for postage.
