This edition of Charles Lamb Lamb’s Tales From Shakespeare is not dated but it was published by Blackie and Son Limited and bears a contemporary presentation inscription dated 1918.

This is a stunning book that has classic William Shakespeare stories that includes Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, Othello, Macbeth, The Merchant of Venice, The Comedy of Errors, Hamlet Prince of Denmark, The Tempest, As You Like It, Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Twelfth Night, Pericles Prince of Tyre, The Winter’s Tale, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, and Cymbeline.  

Hard cover, fair condition.  The spine is damaged at the ends.  The boards have minor scuffing.  The paper is discoloured, with foxing in places.  This is a wonderful addition to a collection of classic childrens' books.
