I bought my Defender 110 with a sliding draw system installed, I've since converted her into a six seater so the draws have had to be removed.
The system consists of two sliding draw units, a set of lockers and a bed.
The draws run on double castors in rails that are riveted to the floor. The first unit is divided into three compartments with checker-plate hinged lock-down lids. It has, on the underside of the lids, pockets with velcro flaps for cutlery and one for plates. The compartments themselves are lined with grey foam. The second unit, which rolls out first, is designed for a gas cooking plate and has attachable side wings for food preparation, it can run out onto a drop-down tail gate frame or can be removed completely when making camp, it can become self standing by deploying its folding legs.
Included is an angle iron frame that fits between the wheel wells and supports wooden boards which form the center of a double bed. There are lockers that fix on top of the wheel wells and matresses that cover the whole assembly.
Although the set-up is designed for two adults travelling in the front, children can ride in the back on the bed.
Happy bidding.
