These plants flower in winter (may, june or july)
The main growing period for these plants is autumn, their soil should be sandy and mineral rich.
Seeds are best sown at temperatures between 22 - 30 C* Seeds are very fine, care must be taken not to sow them to deep, only a very light covering of medium to course riversand is needed. (silica sand, normally used in pool filters also works well)
