A vintage laptop by Compaq. This is the Armada model 1700 which powers up but needs the correct installation floppies to get it going. The 40Gb IDE hard drive has been replaced recently and it has been previously tested in another machine. This Compaq laptop was designed to run on Windows 98 with an Intel P2 processor. The unit is fitted with both a floppy drive and a CD drive. The power supply is built into the laptop which runs from AC mains with the supplied power cable. The battery is no good, but the unit will run directly from mains. The keyboard is quite worn and some keys are illegible, hence the low price.
