Large Resin Angela Caputi Giuggiu "1940s Hollywood" Clip-on Earrings

The pair of large, modern clip-on earrings were crafted in synthetic resin by Angela Caputi Giuggiu in Florence Italy. Each one features a lower section in the form of a shaped, cream ball with small, black bead details; this is hinged with a white metal link to a mid-section that includes an interlinked black circle, marbled brown square, and black oval; this in turn is connected to the top black hemisphere, with white metal clip attached to the rear. The earrings are unmarked but originate from the London Royal Academy's Angela Caputi Giuggiu shop collection.

Angela Caputi Giuggiù's workshop is situated in the Palazzetto Mediceo, an historic building near the Ponte Vecchio, in Florence Italy. Her creations are inspired from American films of the 1940's as well as from a long-standing passion for fashion. Angela Caputi's bijoux are considered both fashion and art, created using "simple" materials such as synthetic resins, and have been featured in international museum collections, such as in the United States of America, and in Italy.
