Large antique Grimwades "Nancy" pattern Flow Blue meat platter. I would date this lovely Flow Blue meat platter to the late 1800s. The process began by accident in the 1820s, featuring blurred or "flowed" blue glaze which happened during the firing process. The platter is oval and has the blue pattern around the lip, and is backstamped on the back. It is large measuring 40cm x 32cm, and is in good condition. Great buy.
