Large Antique Persian Qajar Silver Traced Embossed Bucket.

This stunning piece of Persian metalwork dates back to the Qajar period.  The Qajar dynasty (17891925) was an Iranian dynasty founded by Mohammad Khan (r. 17891797) of the Qoyunlu clan of the Turkoman Qajar tribe.

The bucket is large and well-made with a fluted top and hammered solid copper serpentine handle.  It is hand-crafted, highly decorated and beautifully hammered and chased with  hunting scenes and figures in traditional Qajar dress. In excellent antique condition with no splitting or dents.
