DESCRIPTION A genuine piece of American industrial history, this TIN container was produced by E. Greenfields Son & Co. of New York (Est. 1848). This "American Fine Confectionery" vessel is a classic example of early 20th-century lithographed advertising. It features a weathered, authentic patina that tells the story of its age and journey.
CONDITION NOTES Please note that this is an authentic antique item:
AUTHENTIC WEAR: The tin shows significant signs of age, including a "bleached" effect on one side, likely due to historical sun exposure.
SEALED LID: The lid is currently stuck/fixed and cannot be removed. We have left it in its found state to avoid damaging the metal.
PATINA: Surface oxidation and minor scuffs consistent with a 100-year-old advertising piece.
