Offered for sale is a unique hand crafted  ceramic sculptural vessel by South African studio potter Candice Fenianos styled as a melon or avocado slice . This item probably dates to the late 1990's or early 2000's. Candice Fenianos is a graduate from Wits Technikon Ceramic Design Faculty (subsequently amalgamated with the University of Johannesburg ). Her award winning sculptural ceramics have been acquired by a number of  Corporate Art Collections including the Corobrik Collection which is housed at the University of Pretoria. This is a slip cast/hollow cast earthenware item with a bold glossy glaze combination of avocado green and purple contrasting with a textured brown border bisque fired which emulates the rind of a melon or avocado . This is a large piece which would make an eye catching statement as the centrepiece for a  dining room or entrance hall table. Candice Fenianos was tutored by the ceramic sculptor Eugene Hon who was head of the Ceramic Design faculty at Wits Tech. She was influenced in her styling by contemporary pop/post modern British ceramic designers such as Kate Malone and Richard Slee.

Courier delivery is recommended cost approx R130. Collection is welcome from Emmerantia Jhb.
