An imposing display plate by Copeland Spode in a pattern called “Romney.” The plate has a beautifully raised and scalloped edge. The date mark dates its manufacture to September 1946. It also bears an impressed mark reading “Copeland Spode Imperial.” It is in excellent condition for its age, with no chips, cracks or grazing. It measures about 27cm across (left to right) and is about 2.8cm high.
