A VERY FINE, VINTAGE, TRANSFER DECORATED DELFT WALL PLATE/PLAQUE, CHARGER, OR PLATTER.

THE SCENE IN THE CENTRE IS FROM A PAINTING BY DUTCH ARTIST J. SONNEVILLE, WHOSE WORK WAS POPULAR DURING THE LATE 1800's AND EARLY 1900'S.

IT FEATURES A RURAL SCENE OF BUILDINGS ALONG A CANAL, WITH PEOPLE FISHING IN A BOAT, CATTLE GRAZING AND WINDMILLS IN THE BACKGROUND.

THE CHARGER MEASURES 33cms DIAMETER AND WEIGHS 1 KILO. IT HAS NO CRACKS OR CHIPS. IT IS WIRED READY FOR HANGING.
