LARGE, DOMED YELLOW SAPPHIRE SOLID STERLING SILVER RING. 925. HEAVY!

This statement piece is crafted in solid sterling silver, featuring a multitude of small, round cut real yellow sapphires in a beautiful gentle lemon yellow, all claw set into the domed ring head. There are multiple strands of yellow sapphires, separated by polished solid sterling silver strand spacers, quite organic in feel. The ring head measures 25mm across the finger and is 16 mm wide. It is raised a splendid 6 mm above the finger the design of the ring head continuing in a domed curve all the way down the sides of the ring head to the finger. The highly polished sterling silver shank is a very solid half-round shank, heavy but narrowing to 4mm at the back for comfort. It broadens swiftly to 13mm width at the ring head. Openwork beneath the gemstones allows light to pass through the stones, which enhances the colour, and the silver claws add an interesting texture to the piece. The piece weighs a hefty 11,94 grams and bears the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver. Femine and pretty but big enough to be a real conversation piece!
