Large Edwardian solid oak S Shaped roll top desk...not your std run of the mill

stunningoak roll top desk from about 1910 has raised panels and is signed " 

S.Souto & Co New york U.S.A". There are two pull out shelves and a 

file drawer bottom right...the last 2 handles is actually one deep 

draw.The "S" curve shape roll glides smoothly, it has a working lock. 

Inside are tiny cubicles, pen drawers and a pencil rest. This is the 

first roll top desk I have seen with and extra roll top as a door on the

 inside (left) Brass hardware is original. Deep drawers have original 

carved pulls and dovetailed joints.

This desk is in very very nice condition and a statement piece in a proud home

size 130x152x84cm
