  • Slight indentation on the copper medallion with general wear
  • During the Indian Wars of the 1870's the Federal government employed a number of Indians who acted as scouts & guides in the Indian tribal areas. As gratitude they were awarded the Grand Army of the Republic belt buckle when their service was over.

After the American Revolution, King George III developed mental illness.
