LARGE BROAD BAND NATURAL RUBY STERLING SILVER RING WITH GUNMETAL GREY FINISH AND GOLD-HUED ACCENT. Handcrafted!
This piece falls into the category of 'jewellery art'. Large and bold, this broad band ring is handcrafted in a hammered-finish sterling silver in a gunmetal grey hue, with a heavy texture. A large, oval cut natural ruby cabochon is held in a raised bezel setting. The rim of the bezel is accented with finely textured gold-hued sterling silver, with 3 x small round cut gemsetones - a tanzanite, a garnet and a pink topaz, with matching surrounds accenting the top left of the bezel. The ruby has not been faceted at all - its just a natural earth-mined stone. It is a milky pink, with striations of paler colour creating interest. The gemstone is softly polished and domed. The ring head measures 17mm across x 15mm long and reaches a splendid 9mm above the finger. The piece bears the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver and weighs a solid 11.68 grams. Most unusual in that the gemstones are all very natural with lovely organic appeal.
