HANDCRAFTED LARGE NATURAL LAPIS LAZULI STERLING SILVER RING. INTRICATE DETAILING

 This tall beautifully handcrafted piece is in solid sterling silver, a narrow shank forking horizontally on the shoulders to support the 15mm x 15mm ring head. A rectangular lapis lazuli cabochon is bezel set on the top of a platform that holds the gemstone a splendid 12mm above the finger. The platform is tiered, with 3 x tiers, separated by a rolled silver border. The bottom tier has a row of mini polished baubles, followed by the smaller second tier which has 2 x curlicues on each side of the square, with a small accent bauble. The final tier is the smallest; a simple polished bezel holds the 11mm x 9mm rich blue natural gemstone with its characteristic gold pyrite inclusions. The ring weighs a hefty 8,3 grams, and bears the 925 hallmark for sterling silver.
