LARGE, LONG & SPLENDID SOLID STERLING SILVER NATURAL MARCASITE RING

A beautiful and seriously solid piece of jewellery, this ring is crafted out of solid sterling silver. It has been tightly set with natural marcasite gemstones, with sterling silver raised and rounded claw spacers to present a carpet of tactile subtle sparkle. The ring stretches 4,6 cm (46 mm) up the finger, measures 2 cm (20 mm) across. It curves gentlly around the finger in a domed shape so that it sits snug and secure. The back of the ring head is solid polished sterling silver. The side of the ring head joins with the shoulders and into the shank, that is 11 mm at the shoulder, narrowing ever so slightly to 6 mm at the back of the shank. The silver all over has a reassuringly solid feel. The ring weighs 19,2 grams. It is size 8 (Q in British and SA sizing) and is hallmarked 925 for sterling silver.
