Offered for sale is a stylish large Midcentury Modern circa 1950's ceramic platter made by the company Hoganas in South West Sweden. This is a hand made item hand painted with a contrasting double border of daffodil yellow and black with a zig zag repeat pattern painted onto the black border of the platter. This is a large broad platter which would make an eye catching statement in a modernist home or as the centrepiece for a sleek table setting . The platter is leaf shaped or blade shaped and quite shallow. It has imprinted marks on the rear reading hand made in Sweden Hoganas the company logo , Eldfast and the initials YS.
