LARGE NATURAL CARNELIAN GEMSTONE SOLID STERLING SILVER PENDANT NECKLACE on Long, Thick Chain

A subtly dramatic piece of jewellery featuring a natural earth-mined oval carnelian gemstone, softly polished into an oval cabochon. This is bezel set into a sterling silver frame with an intricate and decorative detail. The bale is quite large - it has an 8 mm opening allowing for even the thickest of chains. The chain itself is a rope link, solid sterling silver, measuring a lovely long 70 cm (700 mm). The pendant measures 6 cm (60 mm) by 3,7 cm (37 mm). The necklace weighs 34,1 grams and is hallmarked 925 for sterling silver.
