LARGE NATURAL EARTH-MINED LABRADORITE SOLID STERLING SILVER RING - BEAUTIFUL SEA BLUE IRIDESCENCE


This quite heavy piece of solid sterling silver ring features a large and lovely natural earth-mined Labradorite. The stone has been bezel set in to a deep bezel frame that stretches 11 mm up from the base of the ring head to the edge of the Labradorite. The bezel setting continues down into a 2 mm flat sterling silver "lip" that frames the whole ring head. The back is an expanse of polished sterling silver, open at the back of the bezel setting. The Labradorite is an unusually beautiful colour, flashing classic "Labradorescence" through the sea hues of green and blue. The ring head measures 3,5 x 3 cm (35 x 30 mm). It is ring size 7.75 (P/half in British and SA sizing) and weighs 24,9 grams. It is hallmarked 925 for sterling silver. The stone is perfect, the ring shank showing just a few buff marks in keeping with its vintage.
