Dunne Bennett Ladysmith Pattern Platter in Blue, white and green floral pattern around the border C 1889. The platter is backstamped Dunne Bennett Burslem England with pattern name Ladysmith.

Dunne Bennett was founded in 1875 and moved to Burslem England in 1886, in 1968 was sold to Royal Doulton and in 1982 was sold by Doulton due to Management Buy out and and in 1983 ceased to exist. Dunne Bennett were famous for producing tableware for Hotels, ships and the Railways.

This platter is huge 48,cmx35cm in ironstone with a scolloped edge with the blue and green floral pattern around the border, small nibble on backside of rim however not noticeable and can be expected with age, refer to photos.
