LARGE SPRING ACTION CAST IRON PUNCH MOUNTED ON A WOOD BASE -- A4 Size
This is a Large Office Punch composed of Cast Iron (Black) and mounted on a Rectangular Block of Wood. Underneath the Wood Base is a groove which runs the length of the base and has a white plastic slide covering. The little circular pieces of paper are gathered inside this Groove when "punching" sheets of paper and the Plastic slides outwards for easy disposal of the paper pieces. Also on the base is an extendable metal "arm" which is inside the Base. This arm can be extended to form a rest for paper sheets being "punched"
A Silver Label on the Base ---- "Supplied by W.HAYES (pty) Ltd, Stationers, 43 Kruis Street Johannesburg" Incidentally, this company no longer exists and 43 Kruis St in Jhb is occupied by other concerns
