LARGE RARE ART NOUVEAU LOETZ IRRIDESCENT VASE METAL MOUNT

Large Art Nouveau era, Bottle green vase with a light iridescent rainbow colour surface. Attributed to Loetz of Austria, Circa 1900. A metal mount in an Art Nouveau design, fits the glass top rim with recesses to the glass to hold the mount in place. There is some tarnish/surface rust to the mount, but it is intact. The vase is in fairly good condition, scratches to surface, but no major damages. Top rim is not smooth due to mount fitting over the rim, odd nibble, but no major chips. A small star crack is seen on the side, but is contained and vase does not leak. Some wear to iridescence, but it is intact and can be seen against bright light. Very hard to find such a vase nowadays. Measures approximately 19 cm high with mount in place and about 15 cm widest.
