Early Large Royal Doulton 'Countryside' Mug (D3647)
This large, Royal Doulton series ware mug or short tankard is a scarce, unusual shape and is decorated in the 'Countryside' pattern. This series was produced between 1912 and 1945 and other than some mild crazing associated with these wares, it's in excellent condition. It has a stepped, flared base with a diameter of 10.8cm, a top diameter of 9.7cm and stands 13cm high. It has the pattern number 'D3647' as well as the Royal Doulton backstamp on the base.
