Large Scarce 'South Africa Police' Marble & Wooden Plaque

This early, large, heavy, scarce 'South Africa Police' (S.A.P) hanging wall plaque is very well made, and other than a few minor knocks to the badge it's in good condition. It has a large grey metal, early S.A.P badge attached to a thick bevelled polished piece of black marble, cut in the shape of a shield, which in turn is mounted onto a solid piece of similar shaped wood. This is one of three similar plaques (with different badges) that I'm listing, and I can only presume they were custom made for someone many years ago, as I've never come across something similar. The plaque measures 26,5cm x 28cm x 2cm, and weighs a heavy 1,4kg.
