VINTAGE CORNFLOWER BLUE QUARTZ AND MARCASITE RING SET IN HALLMARKED '925' STERLING SILVER

1,16 carats of claw-set stunning cornflower blue quartz gemstones form a flower on the ring head of this statement ring. 10 marquise-cut quartz form the petals, fanning out around a central round-cut quartz. 6 marquise-cut quartz bracket the flower - 2 above and 2 below, with one on each side, reaching down the shoulder of the shank. The shoulders of the piece are detailed by 28 marcasites set within matching beveled heart-shaped designs that flare from the broad shank up towards the impressively large (20mm wide x 23mm long) ring head. A showy piece; this ring is hefty at 9 grams and with a starburst of bright blue and silver, is dramatic on the finger. You can't stop looking at it when on the finger! A truly special piece of jewellery.
