Antique 'King Henry VIII' Large Silver Spoon (Hanau Silver)

This lovely, large, antique 'Hanau' solid silver cast commemorative spoon of 'King Henry VIII' has amazing detail on both sides of the spoon. It has two sets of silver hallmarks on the bowl of the spoon, the first for the maker, 'B. Neresheimer & Sohne' of 'Hanau' which was founded in 1893, and the second set are the English silver import marks for 'Chester 1912' and 'BHM' for (Berthold Hermann Muller), who was based in Chester, and was an importer of German and Dutch silverware. The spoon is in excellent condition and measures 20,5cm in length, by 5cm at its widest and weighs 72,5g.

Please feel free to email me with any queries, and please look closely at the pictures provided as they are of the actual item and form a vital part of the description.
