A lovely large square ink, deep aqua in colour. The bottle is 9 cm high and 7.5 cm square at the base. The ink probably dates from the late 1890s and was dug from the Drift Sands dump outside Cape Town. It has several bubbles and a well delineated seam mark running across two shoulders. There is an extremely small scratch/chip at the base on one side and the bottle has a decided wobble !
