LARGE VINTAGE BEZEL SET BROAD SHANK BALTIC AMBER STERLING SILVER RING. AMBER FROM POLAND! 925

This bold, beautiful piece features a smoothly polished oval cut Baltic Amber cabochon, bezel set in a solid sterling silver broad band shank. The shank has slight twist - an upward tick in the centre where the gemstone is situated. Measuring 12mm across x 8mm down, the ring head is part and parcel of the broad band shank, which sits snugly and comfortably, the top of the amber reaching 5.5mm above the finger. The amber is a glorious deep raw honey hue, with fascinating natural inclusions. The hefty 4.5 gram piece bears the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver. I struggle to find good pieces of vintage amber - this one is particularly attractive as the sterling silver shank is broad and solid without being hefty, making for a lovely piece of jewellery. A bold, statement piece! Please note the fairly small ring size. This kind of design does not allow for ring size change!
