Offered for sale is an attractive and fun vintage 1960's Italian wine bottle/decanter most likely made in the Empoli district of Italy. The item is press molded glass in a pale emerald green colourway, the shape of the bottle styled to resemble a large fish of the carp or trout variety with gilld fins scales and tail well defined in the modelleling with an integrated cylindrical neck which would have been stoppered with cork. These bottles originally contained white wine retailed under the label Antinori Bianco. Over time they became collectible as decor items to use as decanters or candlesticks especially in rustic family owned Italian restaurants.
Postage for this item is R100 via Postnet or R140 for courier to major cities in SA. Collection is welcome from Emmerantia Jhb.
