BEAUTIFULLY MADE SOLITAIRE REAL ROSE QUARTZ AND TANZANITE 9CT YELLOW GOLD RING. BIRMINGHAM ASSAY. 

This unusual piece features a large solitaire oval faceted rose quartz in the softest apricot pink, claw set in 9ct yellow gold. The solid gold shank is narrow at the bottom for comfort, broadening on the shoulders to encompass 4 pale purple round cut tanzanites that are claw set - 2 on each side - within an elongated textured triangle that runs from the ring head down the shoulders. The ring head is 18mm wide x 14mm long x 5mm high and the piece weighs a hefty 5,69 grams. The pedigree of the piece is evident in the hallmarks; the jeweller's signature, the Birmingham Assay mark, the date 2005 and the 375 hallmark for 9ct yellow gold. The ring is in good condition and has been tested by authenticated by an independent jeweller. Beautifully made and very feminine but with a pleasant feeling of solid weight behind it.
