The item is a very solidly manufactured oval shaped vintage silver plated carving tray with impressed scroll funnels leading to a drip well. The tray has been decorated on the longitudinal flared verge with an etched floral, leaf and vine patterning and four solid and mildly scrolled feet have been attached underneath the tray.
Springtime by 1847 Rogers Bros IS, International Silver Company, was introduced in 1957 and discontinued in 1967. The silver plate pattern features wonderful flowers and stems growing at the center of the design. The silverware is typical of 1950's and 60's and will blend well with Danish Modern and contemporary styles.
The tray is impressed underneath Springtime (in cursive) 1847 Rogers Bros IS.
The tray has surface scratches due to use and it requires a polish, however no other damages or plate loss noted on this item.
