Hardcover first published in Great Britain 1962 by Cassell & Company. The jacket is whole but rubbed, edge-worn, chipped and creased in places, with several short tears to the edges. There is a narrow band of discolouration along the bottom edge, mainly visible on the rear. The boards are square, but marked along the spine and top edges, with a similar band of staining to that of the jacket, along the bottom edges. There is a small label to the inside front board, and the bookplate of a previous owner on the half-title page. Apart from some sporadic foxing to the last few pages, the pages are clean and unmarked.
