These pieces are in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Iron Padlock is present and detailed with original key . Casement remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Securing bale is complete and opens / closes when engaged. Key will display signs of general wear ( bent to a small degree). Lock functions as intended with key allowing for opening and closure. Verdigris/ Toning will be visible on Wrought Iron Casement and fittings. Item is Second-Hand.

An EXCELLENT example of RARE, 1880s English Wrought Iron Padlock with Key. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Relief on  obverse and reverse. All parts appear present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Casement is complete and remains intact , with securing bale attached well. Markings are present- denoting origin. Internal levers appear present, as Key functions and engages mechanisms , allowing for opening and closing. 

The ideal addition to any English / Victorian Era Wrought Iron Padlock collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
