Pre UNION COLONIES - Scarce & Very Valuable

All these stamps are scarce particularly the Free state that was the 1st one issued - the orange Five shilling CoGH has a very high catalogue value . The four pence blue also has a high value as it has the crown over CC watermark. There are 4 blues as in ultra marine , deep blue , dull blue & pale blue ranging from R36 to R750 - I cannot be sure on the shade of blue. The ZAR stamps are no doubt from this era but apparantly Paul Kruger ordered lots of reprints to sell in his effort to raise funds for his war and are not recognised as the original specimans issued. That said they are still scarce and valuable items.
