Union of South Africa. A very interesting cover. The 1896 Orange Free State “Halve Penny”Overprint with Misplaced (almost invisible) Obliterating Bar on cover dated the 1st of December 1937 – very late usage! Please note, the so-called Pre-Union stamps were only demonetised on the 1st of January 1938. Most probably a philatelic cover, but very scarce, if not unique!
