Titanium, known as the space age metal because of its high demand in the aerospace industry, is one of the strongest metals

known to man. It is at least 30% stronger than steel, but weighs only half as much. It is the most hypoallergenic metal known.

It has excellent corrosion resistance against salt water, chlorides and acids. It is ultra hard, heat resistant and scratch resistant,

with low light absorbsion and high visible light transmittance.

Titanium is fairly abundant in the earth's crust, but is extremely expensive due to the dificulties faced in isolating it.

The Seiko SNAE47P1 features a full titanium case, case back and bracelet with deployment clasp.

It has a full function chronograph stopwatch, measuring up to 60 minutes in 1/5th second increments, with a daily alarm and date display at the 3 o'clock position.

It features Hardlex crystal glass for superior scratch resistance and a 100m/10ATM water resistance rating.

Weighing in at a super light 68.5 gram, it is so light and comfortable,you won't even know you're wearing it!

The titanium case measures 41mm x 10mm and features a screw in titanium case back.

The titanium bracelet measures 20mm at the lugs and will fit a wrist of up to 210mm.

The polished steel Lumibrite luminous hands and markers contrast well against the glossy black dial, with the red second and sub dial indicators lending a sporty look.

Three sub dials indicate seconds, chronograph minutes and alarm functions.

The alarm sub dial can also indicate the time in a different time zone and operates seperately from the main time hands.
