PH2011-ATC digital PH tester is the latest model with ATC and backlight display upgraded, the new NTC sensor which is made of temperature inductive Titanium alloy provides quicker and more accurate ATC (Image 2 avove) while in some other manufacturers' products the plastics were used. ATC, automatic temperature compensation, adjusts the PH value difference caused by the change of temperature.

Importance:

1. The glass electrode is fragile, avoid to be touched or hit, always keep the cap closed while not using, no guarantee for its damage. When the new device is received, the cap may be stuck by chemicals which was not cleaned after the calibration by manufacturer, please pull out forcefully, do not bend or turn the cap, this may be done easily after dipping in the water for a while.
2. The device is pre-calibrated by the manufacturer, not necessary to calibrate it before using.
3. The calibration is recommended, after 2 to 3 months if the testing has not be done too often, or the accuracy required.
4. Calibrate the tester with PH 6.86 buffer powder firstly, then the PH 4.01 or PH 9.18 ones. Should the sample to be tested be acidic, the tester can be calibrated with buffer powder of PH 4.01 and 6.86, while it's alkaline, PH 6.86 and 9.18 ones should be used for calibration. Calibration with these three types of buffer powder is recommended if the tester will be used to test the PH of acid and alkaline.
5. Maintenance, should the device not be used for a long period, simply test it with the clean water every half month.
6. Sway the  device gently against the tested liquid while testing (this may take a while), after the reading is unchanged, then stop and take the reading.
7. When replacing the batteries, remove (pull) the battery cap slowly and carefully as there are wires connecting to the cap.
8. The pH of tested liquid should be within pH 0 to 14 and its tempreture also in 0 to 50 degree, otherwise the detection bulb may be broken if to test the liquid out of these ranges.
9. Cautions: Should the batteries are flat (working but reading unclear), the calibration may not be done correctly (error occurs), replace the batteries for calibration.
