Which pipe diameter should you choose?
15mm LDPE pipe
Suitable for smaller irrigation branches, short pipe runs and lower-flow applications.
20mm LDPE pipe
A versatile choice for many residential garden-irrigation and sprinkler systems.
25mm LDPE pipe
Better suited to main irrigation lines, longer pipe runs or systems requiring a higher water flow.
Using pipe that is too small can cause excessive pressure loss and poor sprinkler performance. Larger systems may require a professional flow and pressure calculation.
Important information
- This is non-SABS LDPE pipe intended primarily for irrigation and general outdoor water-distribution applications.
- It is not recommended for drinking-water systems or installations requiring certified SABS pipe.
- The pressure class is not the recommended continuous operating pressure under every installation condition.
