A fine example of a WWI Lee Enfield 1907 sword bayonet by Sanderson.
The bayonet is is excellent overall condition with blueing on the blade, no nicks and locking button functional
Marks (left ricasso) : Crown and "G.R." (George Rex)(feint) over "1907" (pattern model) over "9" and "18" (manufacture date - September 1918) over "Sanderson" (manufacturer).
Marks (right ricasso) : War Office broad arrow and "X" (bend test stamp) with a number of inspection stamps.
Scabbard : Double-stitched black leather with steel top-mount and chape. The top-mount has the teardrop-shaped button
The bayonet length is 55 cm and the blade 43 cm
Pommel has SAP stamp so was re-issued at a later date
