Charming hand painted miniature building by J Carlton depicting the French shopfront Le Petit Marché. Detailed brickwork, window boxes and a classic European façade give it a lovely old-world feel. This is part of the J Carlton collectible village series and is fully marked on the back. Made from a resin composite and painted by hand with textured detail.

They were produced mainly in the 1990s2000s for EFSA, a French company specialising in collectible village buildings and European-style architectural miniatures.
These pieces mimic quaint French shops, cafés, houses and cobblestone village buildings
The piece displays beautifully and is ideal for collectors of miniature buildings, French street scenes or decorative shelf displays. The underside confirms the J Carlton mark and EFSA copyright stamp. A small area on the back corner is chipped but does not affect the frontal display.
