A quality LED downlight / spotlight that is designed to replace your old halogen bulbs that are famous for burning plenty of energy, translating to lots of Rands. These have a GU10 base and use 60 SMD 3528 LED light source to emulate the same brightness and high power focused light that you would expect from a halogen bulb but instead of achieving this through incandescent lighting, they instead use Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) to do the same job while saving power and also vastly increasing the lifespan of the bulb itself.
This uses 5 watts to produce the same amount of light as a 50W halogen bulb that would require ten times the power, meaning significant energy savings wherever you choose to use them, especially if you normally use halogen spots in multiple numbers for general lighting.
These have a glass body and dimensions of 50mm x 55mm and they produce 450 - 485 lumens of light with a 120 degrees beam angle.
They are designed to last at least ten years of average use and will give a full 50,000 hours of service before needing replacement, drastically outliving any lifespan of halogen bulbs.
