In the LED Lenser P7 you have a good balance between bright light, long battery life and compactness. The P7 uses 4 AAA batteries to provide up to 200 lumens and up to 120 hours in economy/low mode, and the focused beam is good out to 200 metres. By sliding the head backwards or forwards you can change the beam from focused to diffused, or anywhere in between, and you can do this one-handed.

The LED LENSER¿ series of torches are technological masterpieces. The torches have a modular construction so any individual component can be easily replaced, the housing is made from high-grade aluminium and the threads are corrosion resistant. LED LENSER¿ torches use blue LEDs (as they are more efficient) and coat them with a yellowish fluorescent layer of doped yttrium aluminum garnet powder (Y3Al5O12), combined this creates a super-bright light with a bluish white colour.
