Pixel strands are similar to the LED pixels . They are however chip based product and ideal for signs/set ups that need animation. 


Pixel strands come prebuild as strands of 50.

Pixel strands are 8mm pixel LEDs with a GS8208 chip inside.

A GS8208 IC is 12v, so it has very few components on the PCB.  
The new GS8208 chip is ideal as it is 12v and has redundancy build in.

Using 12v means longer power runs and less amperage.

Standard distance between pixels is 11cm.
