After winning his first tournament as a professional in 1999, Westwood has gone on to claim 29 victories worldwide and represented Europe in the Ryder Cup on five occasions. The year 2000 was one of his greatest and saw him claim six victories worldwide as well as topple Colin Montgomerie as the European Tour´s number one. He finished third in the US Open and tied 11th in the Masters in 2008.
