LEICA M2 CHROME RANGEFINDER 35mm FILM CAMERA ELMAR 2.8 f=5cm COLLAPSIBLE LENS. A nice clean excellent working condition "button rewind" 35mm Leica M2 camera. Serial number is 941 988. Shutter speeds accurate to the eye and ear. The curtain is light tight. The rangefinder is crisp and clean and fusses accurately. The camera body still has the original "j" seal intact meaning it was last serviced by the Johannesburg Leica agents. The lens is very clean and crisp with usual signs of aging for a lens of its age. Ever so slight haze. Ever so slight. You must look very hard to see it. The UVa filter is also included. A working light meter is part of the camera kit. The apertures are snappy and the focus is smooth and accurate. Included is a leather case that will need some TLC and stitching. The strap is not original. A set of instruction manuals completes the package.
