All original Very rare Leitz Tropen Tropical version f=5cm 1:2 Leica screw mount rangefinder lens with Leica III rangefinder camera body # 266442 and leather case. The lens is complete with lens hood / shade and a filter set, the glass is clean showing minimal wear for its age. One of the first ten Summar’s produced with the additional element making this the 7 element version. Aperture blades are dry and clean. Focus is smooth and accurate. The lens serial number is # 410007 Cosmetically as displayed in the images. The camera body fires at all speed. The rangefinder is clear and the curtain clean. Cosmetically well used.
